Emerging in Light -God into Man, Man into God

Moving through aeonic stillnesses I am born and reborn

Describing the ever-expanding spiral, divinity's plunge into night,

I am rain, I am sun, mysterious hum of the universe am I,

Out of nothing I appear in the heart of man who is God in His dreaming,

All the ages foretold in the stone and the sea the day of my coming.

Ever the millenniums appear and my birth is a sign of the future

That swift on the paths of perfection moves, the witness of God in becoming.

I am the living present and past, the future descends on my footfalls,

The energy of stars, source of the planets and visible ether.

Vast is the road I have hewn and travelled to usher my presence in mankind,

Great are the joys of my miracle-tree its fullness of fruit in the swelling.

Out of my sacrifice dawning shall soon be exceeded the ages of man,

For now from the heart of the cosmos aspiring there comes the intrepid receiver,

He who would seek to be more than the sum of his paltry deeds and endeavours,

One who is born by the body of earth, investing his miracled substance,

Elan of the invincible goddess veiled so that men seeing Her be not blinded,

She who descends in the atom and clod, the puissant ineluctable shakti.

Open O earth to the radiant godhead alight on the sill of your being,

Open O man the window of soul that Her presence and power may enter,

Transform by Her inrush the soul and substance of matter's promised potential.

Waken O earth-born from the slumber of spirit your birth and your life have created,

For the day of the God-soul is dawning, its heart a centre of conscious surrender.

High on the peaks of the spirit the voice of the singer beloved is chanting

Of divinised man and earth reconstructed in the image of the Lord of our being.

Waken O souls to the light that within you is gleaming, O waken and see.

Growing, His body of light in its aureate beauty is seen by the sages

And The Mother whose footsteps kindle the stars standing serenely beside Him.
